Return, Exchange and Cancellation Policy

Overview

Thank you for shopping at Electric Avenue!  
All bike sales are final and non-refundable.  Deposits are non-refundable.
Any returned items (such as accessories) must be in new, re-sellable condition and in original packaging. All returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee. 
The customer shall assume full responsibility for all risk of injury or loss which may result from use of their vehicle(s) and any custom modifications, whether those modifications are wholly or in part provided by Electric Avenue, or not.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. 

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned for any refund.  We do not accept products that are perishable goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

Additional non-returnable items:

  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable software products
  • Some health and personal care items

Refunds

Your refund is subject to approval.  A credit will be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be returned for any refund.  Sale items, or discounted items, or items part of a discounted purchase cannot be refunded.

Special Order items

Special order items (ie., items that need to be ordered from a manufacturer’s warehouse) are not eligible for return or refund.

Order or Purchase Cancellations

To cancel an order or purchase that has not yet been delivered, you should mail, email, or phone one of our stores as listed on our website.  Any refund for an order or purchase cancelled by customer request is subject to a 15% cancellation fee, or a 15% restocking fee, as applicable.

You will be responsible for paying for your own return shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for an exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Shipping returns

To return your product, you should mail your product to: {physical address}.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Scooter School Policies

Electric Avenue reserves the right to reschedule or cancel course dates with at least 24 hours notice of the BRC (Basic Rider Course).

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations eligible for a full refund must be requested at least 14 days before the scheduled course begins. Any requested cancellations less than 14 days before the beginning of the scheduled course may or may not be eligible for a refund, due to the difficulty or unavailability in reassigning the space to another student or students.

Rescheduling Policy: Rescheduling requested at least 7 days before the initially scheduled course begins costs $25. Any rescheduling requested less than 7 days before the beginning of the initially scheduled course costs $100.

General Policy: We ask that students be sure to show up on-time or early to each classroom and riding session they are scheduled for. Once you pay your course fee, you have entered into a contract with Electric Avenue and may forfeit the entire course fee if you are late for your scheduled session(s), miss a session entirely, leave part way through a session for any reason, are dismissed by your instructor for any reason, or do not wear the proper apparel for riding (which is outlined on each session’s shopping cart page and welcome email Electric Avenue sends you after you sign up). Electric Avenue and its staff will try its best to accommodate your needs under extenuating circumstances, if you bring these to our attention, but we cannot guarantee that you will not forfeit your payment(s) or incur additional fees.
